Join United Way leaders at the 2026 United Way Southeast Regional Conference to be held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Charleston Airport Hotel & Convention Center from April 14-16, 2026.

The Southeast Regional Conference (SERC) has served as the United Way premier regional learning opportunity for more than 60 years.  Engaging workshops, inspirational keynote speakers, and innovation knowledge exchange provides participants with multiple avenues for learning and networking.

Any United Way professional in our region (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia) is encouraged to attend. We also welcome anyone outside of the Southeast to join us!

No refunds for cancellations will be honored after TBD . The last day to find a replacement for a cancelled attendee is TBD.

Cost

We are pleased that we are able to reduce conference registration to $350 per general registration fee thanks to our generous sponsors and support from United Way Worldwide.

The Southeast Regional Conference Planning Team will track each person who checks in at the conference and send each Local United Way or State Association a reimbursement check based on the number of attendees ($300 per attendee).

Reimbursement checks will be sent AFTER all conference registration fees have been paid via online or by check. The estimated time to receive the rebate will depend on when your United Way’s registration fees are received by the Planning Team.

Scholarship Opportunity

The Southeast Regional Conference Planning Team is pleased to announce that we have scholarships available for TBD specifically for Metro VI and above United Ways.

Cancellation Policy

Conference Registration Cancellation and Refunds: No refunds will be made after TBD. Please submit your cancellation request by emailing us through EZ Register prior to TBD. All refunds will be processed and issued after TBD.

When does conference registration open and close?

Registration opens on 12/15/25. Registration closes on 4/13/26.

How much will the conference cost?

We are pleased that we are able to reduce conference registration to $350/registrant thanks to our generous sponsors and support from United Way Worldwide. If you are a United Way Worldwide employee, registration is free, but you must pay $250 for your food and beverage costs.

Is there a travel rebate?

Local United Ways attending the conference will receive a $300/person travel rebate post event, for each registered individual that attends.

How can I pay for the conference?

You are able to pay for the conference through the registration link. You may pay by credit card or check. If you are paying via check, please include your registration ID Number and make out the check to “Southeast Regional Conference” and send it to the fiscal entity: United Way of North Carolina 1130 Kildaire Farm Road, Suite 100, Cary, NC 27511.

Where can I stay while attending the conference?

A block of 150 rooms has been reserved at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Charleston Airport & Convention Center for the first 150 people who claim a room. You can book your room by clicking this link.

Can I use flex credits?

Flexible Credits will no longer be available as of 2024. Instead, United Way Worldwide is providing sponsorship dollars to regional conferences. The Southeast Regional Conference is using those funds to greatly reduce the cost of attending and provide the travel rebate.
